Dove Court Care Home in Wisbech, a cherished member of the Larchwood Care family, managed by HCMS, recently hosted a heartwarming community celebration to honor the remarkable ten-year tenure of Manager, Nicole Thompson.
The special day, held on Friday 26th April 2024, was a testament to Nicole’s unwavering dedication and leadership. Guests were treated to an array of festivities, including bingo, karaoke sessions, and delightful mocktails, ensuring smiles all around for residents and visitors alike. Guided tours of the purpose-built facility provided insight into our commitment to fostering a warm and thoughtfully designed environment for everyone within our care.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Cllr Peter Human and Mrs. Janet Tanfield, Mayor and Mayoress of Wisbech, who joined in the celebration alongside our cherished residents and staff. Our Chief Executive, Tony Stein, delivered a touching presentation, acknowledging Nicole’s outstanding contributions to Dove Court and the wider community.
Under Nicole’s compassionate guidance, Dove Court has garnered acclaim for its exemplary standards of care, particularly in dementia and respite care. Reflecting on her journey, Nicole remarked,
“It has been a privilege to lead Dove Court and witness the impact we’ve made in our residents’ lives. I have an amazing team, with many long-standing colleagues, and they go above and beyond to provide the highest quality of care. This celebration not only marks my personal journey but also the growth and success of our entire community here at Dove Court.”
Tony Stein echoed these sentiments, emphasising Nicole’s embodiment of Larchwood Care’s core values and her instrumental role in the organisation’s success.
